The New Samsung Galaxy S21 Series


Samsung Galaxy Flagship Phones were Some of the best Android Phones for 2020 and Now Samsung has launched the new Generation of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Series with great and beautiful designs. Samsung has launches 3 versions of the Galaxy S21 as a Successors to the last year’s Samsung Galaxy S20 Series, The S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra where introduced at the Galaxy unpacked 2021 Event. The Galaxy S21 Series Flagship has many great features like, AMOLED displays, SDM 888 / Exynos 2100 5nm processors, centred punch-holes, 5G support, 25W fast charging support, and under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensors. Also the Top of the series which is the Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with Stylus Pen Support which make it the First S Series phone to have this feature. As a New Feature Samsung has two versions of each variant when it comes to the internal storage 128GB and 256GB.

Design and display

Staring with the Samsung Galaxy 21, it has almost the same design as the Galaxy S20, the difference between Both phones are the new camera module, which flows over the device’s left side and blends with the frame, the new camera design depends on the base colour of the phone itself.

Samsung Offer the New S21 in Four different colours which are Phantom Violet, Phantom Grey, Phantom White, and Phantom Pink, All Variant have a plastic back.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Display:

As for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus it is not the much different form the S21, it is different from the regular S21 in the material choice, The Galaxy S21 Plus comes it a glass back unlike the regular S21 that comes is Plastic back.

Samsung Offers the New Galaxy S21 Plus in 6 Colours which are Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, Phantom Violet, Phantom Pink, Phantom Gold, and Phantom Red colours.

As for the premium Variant which is the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra also features the same camera island design, but it is larger than the camera island on the other two variants (S21 and S21 Plus). It includes 4 Camera sensors.

Unlike the other 2 Phones in the series the Galaxy S21 Ultra offers a curved display and don’t forget about the new feature which is Stylus Pen Support which make it the First S Series phone to have this feature.

Front and rear cameras

The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus have the same front and rear cameras. Both devices have 64MP telephoto shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 1.1x optical zoom, 12MP primary sensors with f/1.8 aperture and 3x hybrid zoom, and 12MP ultra wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree FOV. As for the selfie camera the devices offer a 10MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and Dual Pixel PDAF technology.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra camera setup is significantly better with a second-gen 108MP primary camera, the same 12MP wide-angle camera as the other two S21 and S21 Plus, a 3x 10MP telephoto sensor, and a 10x optical “super” telephoto sensor. On top of that the new telephoto sensors have 130% larger pixels and dual-pixel autofocus, and with the 10x telephoto sensor, Samsung offers 100x Space Zoom feature.

All of the series have 8K video capture capability at 30 frames per second, and 4K video capture at 60 frames per second. Also they Can record Full HD video at 240 frames per second.

Software, processor, and battery

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Series are powered by two set of chipset which are Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 processors. Both of the processors are 5nm and have ARM CPU cores 1+3+4 and a built in 5G modems.

As for the Android Version the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra run on the latest Android which is UI 3.1 based on Android 11 OS.

As for the Batteries the Samsung Galaxy S21 Regular comes with a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging and 15W fast wireless charging. The Galaxy S21 Plus comes with a 4,800 mAh battery that also supports 15W wireless charging and 25W fast charging and finally the premium Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with a massive battery of 5,000 mAh battery with the Same Fast charging and wireless charging capabilities as for the other two in the series. All Three variants also come with 4.5W Reverse wireless charging support.

Price and Availability

The Series will go into the stores on January the 29th the prices will start from £769 as for the Samsung Galaxy S21, as for the Galaxy S21 Plus the cost will start from £949 and as for the premium version which is the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra the price will start from £1,149.
