The new Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is a very solid upgrade compared the last year’s version Oppo Reno 4 Pro but with new features and specs that will attract new customers. Oppo this year have check all the right boxes.

The Reno 5 Pro is equipped with a 6.5 inch curved screen with a super AMOLED FHD with a resolution of 2,400 x 1080 display, also it has a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 180Hz Touch sampling rate with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 as protection.


The Reno 5 Pro has an 88.6% screen to body ratio which will make the phone’s screen almost the same of the phones size with whole dimensions of 159.7 x 73.2 x 7.6 mm (6.29 x 2.88 x 0.30 in), Also the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G comes in a glass rear and an aluminium frame.

The Phone comes in four colours which are Astral Blue, Starry Black, Starry Dream and Star Wish Red.

Oppo has gone to a great extend into Artificial Intelligence technology and software to improve its pictures and videos. As for the selfie camera the Reno 5 Pro is a 32 MP with HDR feature, which means it will take a pretty good shot of your face.

Oppo decided to go with a brand new chipset which is the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ MT6889Z integrated 5G. Also it comes with It comes with four performance Cortex-A77 cores and a 9-core Mali G77 MP9 GPU. Meaning the new Oppo Reno 5 Pro runs smoothly and without any glitches or lags, Multi-tasking is also great on this phone, so everyday tasks like watching videos, listening to music, editing a few photos and browsing through websites for hours, all work very smoothly.


Also when it comes to the RAM Memory the Oppo Reno 5 Pro comes with two variants 8GB and 12GB.


Battery life and Memory


The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G comes with two options of internal storage 128GB with 8GB of RAM and 256GB with 12GB of RAM, meaning the Reno 5 Pro 5G have good power for online gamers to play without facing any delays. Unfortunately, this handset doesn’t have an extra memory slot, meaning you can’t expand the memory so be carefully which storage will you chose.


As for the Battery the phone has a battery of 4350 mAh, non-removable, also it supports 65W of fast charging meaning the phone can reach 100% of its battery in an average time of 40 Minutes but the Reno 5 Pro is missing the wireless charging option.
